From Siu-Ming Hart...

Very mixed emotions thinking about Sushmita now. Such a lot of verve, intelligence and creativity, fun and generosity all rolled into one. And with that some very hard knocks along the way and horrible struggles with the very mind which was such a joy to be around. I have been so out of the loop as far as Sushmita's life is concerned. The last time I was in India (15 years!!??) the struggles were very apparent but I didn't get replies to my letters to Sushmita or her mum and after that last visit lost touch. It seems criminal now how I let that happen!!!
